Introduction to Disaster Relief/Chainsaw/Damage Assessment/Flood Recovery – Millington (West TN)

Please pre-register by Monday, August 22, so that we can supply you with the proper training materials and/or lunch count on Saturday.

The credentialing fee is $40 (effective January 1, 2023). This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID, hat, background check, and membership pin, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years.

To be fully credentialed, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.”

7:45 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.      Registration

8:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.    Introduction to Disaster Relief (2-hour class)

10:15 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.  Break

CHOOSE ONE:

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Chainsaw Operation & Safety Classroom

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Damage Assessment

10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Flood Recovery

12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.  – Lunch – $6/person for those who pre-register online or by email.

1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.  Chainsaw Safety & Operation Classroom

1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.  Damage Assessment
