Introduction to Disaster Relief and Flood Recovery – Johnson City (East TN)

October 3, 2024 – East Tennessee State University Baptist Collegiate Ministry, 1012 Seminole Drive, Johnson City, TN 37604.  To pre-register for this class, contact the Holston Baptist Association at  (423) 929-1196 with your names and classes desired.

The credentialing fee is $40. This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID, hat, background check, and membership pin, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years.

To be fully credentialed, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.”

4:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.             Registration

5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.             Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hr. class)

7:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.              Break

7:15 p.m. – 8:45 p.m.               Flood Recovery
