DESCRIPTION:April 25\, 2026 – First Baptist Church\, 205 E. Main Street\, Gallatin\, TN 37066. To pre-register for this class\, contact Chuck Thacker at cft501@aol.com or (615) 390-1052 with your names and classes desired. \nPlease pre-register by Monday\, April 21\, so that we can supply you with the proper training materials and/or lunch count on Saturday. \nThe credentialing fee is $40 (CASH or CHECK ONLY) . This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID\, hat\, background check\, and membership pin\, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years. \nTo be fully credentialed\, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.” \n7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.: Registration \n8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.: Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hours) \n10:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.: Break \n10:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Chainsaw Operation & Safety (2 hours) \n12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.:  Lunch – $10/person\n \n1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.: Flood Recovery (1 1/2 hours) \nRegistration Forms \nDisaster Relief volunteers can now download the following forms to their computers and fill them out and bring them to the training.
