DESCRIPTION:March 21\, 2026 – First Baptist Church\, 1970 N. Main Street\, Whitwell\, TN 37397. To pre-register for this class\, contact Doyle Pittman at dpittman12@epbfi.com (preferred) with your name\, church\,  and classes you plan to take. Call Doyle at (423) 240-1274 if you have any questions. \nPlease pre-register by Monday\, March 16\, so that we can supply you with the proper training materials and/or lunch count on Saturday. \nThe credentialing fee is $40. This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID\, hat\, background check\, and membership pin\, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years. \nPLEASE bring exact cash or check made payable to: TBMB or Tennessee Baptist Mission Board along with your registration forms to make registration move more smoothly and faster. See link below for registration forms. \nTo be fully credentialed\, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.” \n7:45 – 8:15 a.m.                 Registration \n8:15 – 10:15 a.m.              Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hour class) \n10:15  – 10:30 a.m.            Break \n10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.    Chainsaw Operation & Safety (2-hour class) \n12:30 – 1:00 p.m.                Lunch – $5/person (CASH ONLY) for those that pre-register \n1:00 – 2:30 p.m.                  Flood Recovery \nDuring break and lunch\, badge pictures will be made – head and shoulder shot\, no hats. \nRegistration Forms \nDisaster Relief volunteers can now download the following forms to their computers and fill them out and bring them with you to training or send them to the DR office.
