This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID\, hat\, background check\, and membership pin\, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years. \nTo be fully credentialed\, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.” \n7:30 AM – 8:00AM: Registration \n8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hours) \n10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Break \n10:15 AM – 12:15 PM: Chainsaw Operation & Safety \n12:15 PM – 1:00 PM:  Lunch – $6/person\n \n1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Flood Recovery \nRegistration Forms \nDisaster Relief volunteers can now download the following forms to their computers and fill them out and bring them to the training. Depending on which course you take\, you may need current classroom training. \nClasses being offered are: \n\nBucket Truck Classroom and Hands-On Training on both Bucket Truck and Spider Lift (morning class or afternoon class) – includes test – Must have current Chainsaw Operations & Safety classroom training.\n\n\nChainsaw Hands-On Training (morning class or afternoon class) – Must have current Chainsaw Operations & Safety classroom training OR\n\n\nChainsaw Repair & Maintenance – Must have current Chainsaw Operations & Safety classroom training (Please bring a chainsaw\, basic toolset\, and manual\,if available.  This will be a hands-on class and you will be taking your chainsaw apart for the various maintenance tasks.)
