DESCRIPTION:August 15\, 2026 – Valley Grove Baptist Church\, 9000 Sevierville Pike\, Knoxville\, TN 37920. To pre-register for this class\, contact Keith Davis at krdavis707@gmail.com or (865) 387-3519 with your name\, church\, and classes you plan to take. \nPlease pre-register by Monday\, August 10\, so that we can supply you with the proper training materials and/or lunch count on Saturday. \nThe credentialing fee is $40. This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID\, hat\, background check\, and membership pin\, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years. \nPLEASE bring exact cash or check made payable to: TBMB or Tennessee Baptist Mission Board along with your registration forms to make registration move more smoothly and faster. See link below for registration forms. \nTo be fully credentialed\, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.” \n7:30- 8:15 a.m.                 Registration \n8:15 – 10:15 a.m.              Introduction to Disaster Relief (2-hour class) \n  \n10:15  – 10:30 a.m.           Break \n  \n10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.    Shower/Laundry (1 1/2-hour class) \n10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.    Spiritual Preparation/Evangelism – PART 1 of 2 (3-hour class) (THIS CLASS IS ONLY FOR CURRENTLY CREDENTIALED VOLUNTEERS.) \n10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.    Chainsaw Operation & Safety (2-hour class) \n  \n12:30 – 1:00 p.m.                Lunch – $10/person for those that pre-register \n  \n1:00 – 2:30 p.m.                  Flood Recovery (1 1/2-hour class) \n1:00 – 2:30 p.m.                  Rebuild (1 1/2-hour class) \n1:00 – 2:30 p.m.                  Spiritual Preparation/Evangelism – PART 2 of 2 \nDuring registration\, break\, and lunch\, badge pictures will be made – head and shoulder shot\, no hats. \nRegistration Forms \nDisaster Relief volunteers can now download the following forms to their computers and fill them out and bring them with you to training or send them to the DR office.
