DESCRIPTION:April 15\, 2023 – Student Ministry Center at First Baptist Church\, 205 E. Main Street\, Gallatin\, TN 37066. To pre-register for this class\, contact Chuck Thacker at cft501@aol.com or (615) 390-1052 with your names and classes desired.   \nPlease pre-register by Monday\, April 10\, so that we can supply you with the proper training materials and/or lunch count on Saturday. \nThe credentialing fee is $40 (effective January 1\, 2023). This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID\, hat\, background check\, and membership pin\, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years. \nTo be fully credentialed\, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.” \n7:30 AM – 8:15 AM: Registration \n8:15 AM – 10:15 AM: Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hours) \n10:15 AM – 10:30 AM: Break \n10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Chainsaw Operation & Safety\n10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Flood Recovery\n10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Shower/Laundry \n12:00 PM – 12:30 PM:  Lunch – $6/person\n \n12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Chainsaw Operation & Safety\n12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Flood Recovery\n12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: Shower/Laundry \nRegistration Forms \nDisaster Relief volunteers can now download the following forms to their computers and fill them out and bring them to the training.
