DESCRIPTION:November 16\, 2024 – Monterey High School\, 710 E. Commercial Avenue\, Monterey\, TN. To pre-register for this class\, contact Gene Cole at gcolemdf@hotmail.com with your names and classes desired. \nPlease pre-register by Monday\, November 11\, so that we can supply you with the proper training materials and/or lunch count on Saturday. \nThe credentialing fee is $40. This fee will cover not only the cost of the ID\, hat\, background check\, and membership pin\, but also the cost of any of the basic training courses a volunteer wants to take over the next 3 years. Please bring exact cash or check. \nTo be fully credentialed\, you will need to take at least one specialized class after you have taken the prerequisite course of “Introduction to Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.” \n8:00 – 8:30 a.m.                 Registration \n8:30 – 10:30 a.m.               Introduction to Disaster Relief (2 hour class) \n10:30  – 10:45 a.m.            Break \n10:45 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.    Chainsaw Operation & Safety (part 1 of 2-hour class) \n11:45 – 12:15 p.m.             Lunch- $6/person \n12:15 – 1:15 p.m.                Chainsaw Operation & Safety (part 2 of 2-hour class) (Must complete both classes to get chainsaw credentials) \n1:15 – 1:30 p.m.                  Break \n1:30 – 3:00 p.m.                 Flood Recovery \n3:00 – 4:30 p.m.                 Rebuild \n  \nRegistration Forms \nDisaster Relief volunteers can now download the following forms to their computers and fill them out and bring them with you to training or send them to the DR office.
