Wanted to give everyone an update on the storms that went through today and are still going through East TN.
There is significant damage from Adamsville through Clarksville. Our folks have tried to go out and assess the damage but, in some areas, were turned back because of downed trees. If you have seen the news, there were seven semis laid over partially or totally on their side on the bridge across the TN river.
Many of the teams in the area have started to respond as best they can. If your unit is located in the area of the storm, please gather your folks, contact your local Emergency Manager and go to work. If you need assistance, let me know.
- Make sure you get homeowner permissions forms and keep track of your hours on the back of the form. If you need some forms, let me know and I will email it to you, and you can print them off.
- I will get a response set up on Formstack and send out the information when I get it. If not, just use the TN local response at the bottom of the response page on FormStack.
- Make sure you use all safety protocols.
- Thank you for all that you are doing.
We are needing a couple of Chainsaw crews to go to Clarksville as soon as Monday if you can. Carolyn is working on the housing arrangements. If you have a unit that can respond, please let me know as soon as possible.
We may be looking for teams to go to Adamsville but do not have a location and final word on the damage. I will let you know as I learn more.

Wes Jones
